As a Behaviour Change Psychotherapist I developed my 'Stop Bedwetting in 7 Days' method after working with hundreds of children struggling with this problem and, I've continued to update it with the latest research from neuroscience and behavioural psychology.
Many parents have discovered that with the right sort of help, it's possible to solve this problem more easily. Just as you once helped your child learn daytime toileting, my programme will teach you how to implement 'dry bed training'.

How it works
The 'Stop Bedwetting in 7 Days' method
Alicia Eaton’s method is designed to assist development of night time bladder control in children.
The programme focuses on three key areas:
1. Calmer, more settled sleep
Many children who wet the bed aren’t simply “deep sleepers.”
Very often, the brain is still highly active at night, even when the body appears asleep.
The bedtime guided meditation/hypnosis recordings are designed to:
calm mental activity
fall asleep more easily
reduce restlessness
support deeper, more settled sleep throughout the night
help your child feel confident about bathroom visits
2. Brain–bladder communication
Some children haven’t yet fully developed the ability to recognise internal signals clearly. This is known as interoception - awareness of the body’s cues such as hunger, thirst, temperature and the need to use the toilet.
At night, this matters even more. If those signals aren’t being recognised clearly, the brain doesn’t respond in time—and the body simply carries on with the pattern it has learned.
This part of the method helps to:
improve awareness of bladder signals
strengthen the connection between body and brain
support the ability to wake - or hold on - at the right moment
3. Changing the habit and expectation
When something happens night after night, it can become an automatic habit.
Children begin to expect it.
Parents continue to talk about it.
And over time, the pattern becomes reinforced.
This method helps to:
shift that expectation
build confidence that change is possible
replace the old pattern with a new one
So instead of repeating the same cycle, the mind and body begin to learn a different response—staying dry and waking when needed.
With short daily sessions, children quickly begin to understand what’s happening inside their body and develop a new pattern of staying dry.
With help and guidance from the comfort of your own home, your child will become more confident and self-assured, excited about school trips and overnight stays with friends.
Why I created this method
Over the years, I’ve worked with many children and teenagers who had already tried everything - alarms, medication, lifting routines - yet the problem was still there.
What became clear to me was that bedwetting isn’t just a physical issue. In many cases, the body has learned a pattern of behaviour. The brain, the bladder, sleep habits and the child’s expectations are simply not working together in the way they should.
I could also see that parents were struggling with knowing what to do and say to help their child become dry at night - after a time it becomes a tricky problem to discuss. I wanted to create a method that addressed all these areas - not by managing the problem from the outside.
That’s why my ‘Stop Bedwetting in 7 Days’ method solves all these problems by using simple, structured visualisation and guided meditation techniques to help children develop a new behaviour pattern of staying dry at night. And even better, I’ll teach and show you what to say and exactly how to put it into practice to get the best possible outcome.
Hannah's story
I stopped taking medication.
I remember the day a 10-year-old girl called Hannah came to see me. She'd tried everything — noisy bedwetting alarms that woke her entire family, then powerful drugs to inhibit the production of bodily fluids. Even these didn't work, but she continued to take them in the hope they might. The side effects of dry, flaking skin were clear to see and they gave her headaches too.
What concerned me was that she was also prescribed anti-depressants — not because she was depressed, but because it was hoped the muscle-relaxing effect of these would stop her bladder from emptying at night. I couldn't understand how we could do this to our children before trying other, more natural methods first.
Hannah and I had a face-to-face consultation at my London clinic and she continued to follow my online programme after that. Within a few weeks, she began to see real progress - and was soon able to stop taking medication altogether.ll medication for good.
