Behaviour Change Consultations for
Anxiety, Habits and Eating Issues
AVAILABLE FOR CHILDREN … AND THEIR PARENTS
A collaborative and integrative approach for families
As a psychotherapist specialising in behaviour change, I work with children, teenagers, adults and families who feel stuck with a difficulty that hasn’t resolved on its own. My approach is practical and strategic.
Together we look at how a problem has developed and what needs to change in order to move things forward. The aim is not simply to talk about the issue, but to create a clear plan that helps things improve as quickly and effectively as possible.
My work is intentionally collaborative and strategic. Alongside sessions with your child, I work closely with parents to understand the patterns involved and develop practical plans that support progress at home.
This may include parent guidance, written strategies, follow-up communication and access to additional resources such as recordings or online material, as well as therapeutic work with your child.
Sessions are available online or in person in Harley Street, London. When I work with younger children, I usually have parents present in the session too, so you can learn from me too.
Issues I can help with:
General anxiety and trauma
Eating concerns: food anxiety, ARFID, weight issues
Health anxiety: germs, illnesses, emetophobia, dentist
Specific fears or phobias such as fear of flying, dogs, needles
Unwanted habits such as bedwetting, trichotillomania
Lack of confidence, performance anxiety, stage fright
Sleep issues: fear of the dark, insomnia, nightmares
School issues such as avoidance, exam stress, ADHD support
How we can work together:
My fees vary depending on whether we’re doing a short piece of behaviour change work, or more longer term psychotherapeutic sessions, so please do email and enquire. Here’s an outline of how I usually work:
Most families begin with either a Parent Strategy / Guidance Call before an in-person session but it does depend on the nature of the difficulty. If you’re looking for clarity, guidance and next steps then this type of call is often the best starting point.
If you’re seeking therapeutic support for anxiety, habits or more complex emotional difficulties for yourself, then an Online Behaviour Change Session or a full Harley Street Behaviour Change Intensive can be booked.
If you’re unsure which option is right for you, you’re welcome to email and I can advise.
Parent Strategy / Guidance Call
45 minutes (Zoom) - £200
For:
Bedwetting
Eating guidance
Habit overview
Understanding what’s driving the problem
Clear next steps
On this call, we’ll discuss the problem in detail and identify the key patterns involved. I’ll suggest practical strategies you can start using straight away and you’ll receive an email summary with next steps and helpful resources.
Behaviour Change Sessions
90 minutes in-person - £475 (Harley Street London location)
60 minutes in-person - £325 (Harley Street London location)
60 minutes Zoom - £275 (online calls if you’re not able to travel to London)
An extended in-person session allows time for us to fully understand the issue, carry out focused behaviour change work, and create a personalised plan. It’s possible to follow up with Zoom calls to support integration and progress.
The shorter one-hour sessions are more suitable for younger children (especially if parents have had a Zoom call first) and for follow up work.
Bespoke Service for families
I also offer a tailor-made service that can accommodate all your needs. It’s possible for us to work more closely together for a minimum of three months and I’ll act as your personal family therapist. I can accommodate foreign travel, consultations at home, school visits as well as an out-of-hours and weekend service. I know how difficult it can be to solve some family problems, especially those of teenagers and so a ‘hands-on’ approach from a professional may be just what you need.
You’ll have the benefit of my experience and expert advice across the board including medical and educational. I can arrange appointments for blood tests, nutrition, dietary advice, physiotherapy, and also give you educational advice regarding choice of schools, dyslexia, dyspraxia and ADHD. I have a very good contact list and will use my extensive knowledge to solve all your problems.
We’ll have an initial call to discuss how this could work for you and to see if we’re a good fit for each other. Please email me if you are interested and we can discuss this in more detail via Zoom.
