Laughter Tips
Laughing in response to day-to-day problems may not be an obvious choice for most of us, but experts are agreed that it may be the best medicine.
Laughter is in effect an in-built healing mechanism , helping to heal our bodies and our emotions so we can cope with life. That’s why so many of us find ourselves laughing at funerals – our bodies are automatically helping us to recover.
Hanging onto too many bad emotions for too long doesn’t make us feel good. Laughter is important because it releases 3 emotions – anger, anxiety and boredomL.
The Benefits of Laughing
- Triggers release of endorphins – body’s natural painkillers which produce a sense of wellbeing.
- Lowers blood pressure, reduces anxiety, boosts immune function.
- Creates a more positive outlook which helps you to find solutions to problems.
